I have been running Grim Racer fuel exclusively this year. I really like the fuel and my motors run strong and are easy to tune. The motor performance has been top notch.

The added benefit has been the lack of plug use since switching to this fuel. I bought over two hundred plugs last year when they were on sale thinking I would have a good little stash as I run 7 nitro boats and normally go thru 10-12 plugs a race and then more on test days. I bet I haven't burned ten plugs all year. This includes 5 district races and a Nationals.

I know it sounds unreal but you can ask some of the guys I run with. I show the plugs after many strong runs and it looks and works just great. I actually changed a plug because it was just ugly to look at.

I was wondering if others were having the same results as I am.

I like it too... just that my .21 is faster on 65% and GR doesn't sell any.. The Technology fuel is good also..

I have been using GR fuel and now that someone brought it up I do feel glow plugs last longer. I had one in my OS for 3-4 races plus testing and wanted to put a new one in but it just keeps on ticking. If your worried about nitro content, spike it with raw nitro. Add a quart to a gallon of 50% and you'll wind up with 60% and oil down from 23% to about 18%. Good fuel

I'll be switching to Grimracer 50% soon. With that being said, Omega 40% has been giving me long plug life and good performance.

Some how my post rubbed a fellow racer the wrong way.. Im going to remove it out of respect for him.. the post was not an attack on any brand of fuel..

Cheers,

Grimracer

Good to see this thread. I just ordered a gallon the stuff for my new boat. (Looking forward to many more gallons). :D

Great fuel Ive run 12 gallons or so this year. Easy on plugs and good power. Quarts, gallons or buy the barrel its good.

Joe,

good to hear.. let me know how you like it.

A few things you will note about the fuel

It will smolke more them others. it is after all 23% LV oil..

The plug will not tan very easy, truth is it wil be hard to tell you ran the plug unless you take on some water durring the run.

My guess is you will realy like how easy it is on plugs and how easy it is to needle.

Keep us posted

i use Technology hobbies fuel and my needles are consistent good on plugs and performance. But i would try some Grimracer fuel eventually..

Is there anyone in Canada that sells or can get this fuel? The HazMat fee's and the shipping over the boarders is always the set back to us Canadians to be able to run this stuff. Simply put you can't ship it over the boarders. So anyone have some answers for me? Thanks in advance.

I got 4 quarts of the 50% from Mike Hallam. I don't think he has any left now but he said that he could order some in the spring when he places the big fuel order. I am testing the RedMax and the GR 50% now and will likely buy the GR for next season.

I am by no means an expert and just a couple of years into racing. I am using nothing but grim fuel both 30-50 this year and I am having less trouble all the way around my motors will even be here next year with out a bunch of costly repairs.

( I like it ) If that means anything to any one

4 gallons of 50% comes out to 165 dollars..

AquaCraft GrimRacer 50% Boat Fuel Quart 12.99
