The Red Head is My ol'ladie and she's a keeper!!..lol, I cracked open the Box this afternoon, and to my suprize, 95% white, burch ply!! what kinda baffed me was there was the sheet, marked #2 one stamped in ply and one stamped in that luan wood??? there's suppose to be 2 sheet's of part's thay contain the (what the heck you call it) the bottom of the hull from the nose to the transom, the keel!! thats it, funny one in luan and one in1/8th " ply!! the only sheet in the box made from Lauan..Cool, dont see no reason to make a new keel from a new sheet of ply just for that!! they just get laminated together anyways, But I will need to extend that part as I plan to extend the transom indention, and make the transom square across the rear,, now 3/4's of the bottom is a flat 2" piece of ply, to make the hull a V bottom running surface, I plan too keep the 16 degree angle but bring it to a V not a flat surface, the hull has a 1 1/2" indention where you mount the running gear..IE strut and rudder, I am going to make the transom strait and flat across the back with no recess and remove the flat 2" wide bottom and make it a V shape to the transome will be EZ I think and I kind of repeated my self, but you get the point!!.. I will take pic's and make a build thread as I go and make changes, there was someone who wanted me to trace the part's, can you write me back as I will glady do that and fill you in on the instruction's I just need 36" wide sheet's of paper I have 1/16th" sheet ply, a 4' piece so I have enough wood to make the larger bottom sheet to come together to make the bottom V so I guess this thread that I started a few years ago is actually going to come to LIFE!!!!

The Sorcerer was always a mystery boat to me and always wanted to see more of it so I collected pictures of it whenever I came across it. Unfortunately, the only pics are the ones off the Dumas site that they had posted.

I thnk its a pretty cool looking boat. I like the cockpit cover.

I would beg for templates for this one but I got too many boats to build right now I would feel silly asking for a copy but hang on to them! I think your the sole owner of one of these kits!

Would love to see more of it as you go on with the build
