Any APBA members here?

I raced kneel down hydros for 12 years with apba and want to race rc.I live in michigan and have tried to contact several clubs by email and no one has ever returned my emails.I also went to the IMPBA web site for my region and it still has the 2002 race schedule.I think i will join the APBA again even if i have to travel across country to race.Its not a very good way to get new members into rc boat racing if the contacts for the michigan clubs wont return my emails.What classes does APBA run in rc competition?Thanks
