My boat is custom built a bit bigger than yours! Longer and wider stance, bigger sponsons too I think. But it is a little tight!

I got my 90 cobra down last night (I am selling it on the weekend) and it is massive in comparison!

Did you get a cowl that will go over MAC carb? I have a mould for one that should cover it if you didn't!

Just for interest's sake I compared my custom 'bird to the 90 Cobra. The 'bird actually has a wider stance and slighlty longer afterplane, but is much more slender and light, and the running surfaces are smaller. Effectively it is a bigger boat on the water than the Cobra...

You get the feeling I have way too many boats??? Lucky I retired my C Mono!!! but now I have an A hydro again and a B mono on the way sometime... What the hell am I thinking???

I designed and made my own cowl for mine. I deliberately designed it with some downforce, which I dont think goes astray. From memory the bubble canopy style stinger canopies dont generate much downforce... Up to you. Also the canopy matches the curvature of the top of the hull...

Here's me actively reducing boat numbers....!

No question, you have more toys!

Hmmm, once I had it properly propped my A100 was about 10k quicker than the A-90HP in the mono! But with the props I am running on the rigger with the 90 I dont think I can use the 100 in it. No props!

The Wizard mould is down at the fibreglass man's factory now. Just working out whether to offer it joined or in halves. Also whether or not to add the rails when it is in the mould because the rails and radio box are integral. there is no radio box moulded into the boat. any suggestions there??

I would guess joined with rails in would be the best bet. Joining hulls is no fun.

So how do you mount the strut and rudder??? one thing you cant do is get to the inside of the transom once the boat is joined. The radio box blocks access. What we used to do is mount all the hardware before we joined them using blind nuts

Maybe a lil redesign is required in the radio area???

How about just engine rails in, no radio box. ie rails in the engine area only, short rails. Thus the user makes a seperate radio box which can be removed. Or glass in a 5mm block of alloy that could be tapped into for the hardware.
