a carb Question

I am getting a hydto ready for a friend, and when i was hooking th e gas line up to the carb (on the bottom of the carb) i noticed that there was a barbed fitting on the other side of the carb under the primer bulb. I have never seen that before, what is it for ???

Do I just leave it or what???

I assume your talking about a gas engine with a primer bulb on the carb.? the barb by the primer bulb is a return line from the primer bulb

Yes it is a gas boat, so should i leave it open or hook it to what? Thanks for the info.

If you plan on using the primer bulb then you need to run a fuel line from that fitting back to the fuel tank. If your not going to use the primer bulb then seal off that fitting. I have used the top cap that came on an antenna and just zipped tied it to seal off the fitting.
