So whats the verdict on the Stig - should I stick with that engine a bit longer or change to "plan B"? I thought it went pretty good yesterday.
 
man id stick with it for now thats the best iv seen it go it hammers so id keep with it man

get the trim right a were all stuffed lol

hahaha man you know my thoughts on what you should do....

Put it this way of you can show up to our next race day and run three races without DNF then keep workn with it.

If it dose the usual then feed it to the pond gods :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yep - the dremel permanently took care of the stuck screw. I just slotted it and used a screwdriver. The Sleeve came out easy. It was just the piston skirt, everything else looked reasonable considering what had happened.

I discovered that a strip of lead was missing from the front of the boat. So the CG was out a bit. I should have checked that before changing the trim angle I guess :rolleyes:

Greg,

Not at the CG, but I have a rather heavy Frankenstein TT engine on the back so I have a lot of weight in front of the box to try & balance it out and get the CG anywhere near the reccomended spot. My boat isn't dialled yet though. Needs more fine tuning in that regard.

i could have knocked kesso of the top if i hadnt stuffed up the first two heats! :angry:
