November 17 2013, the unnoficial & unsanctioned, 1st ever "Tunnel Spectacular"!!! Sheet, committee don't know anything about it yet!

Be there. Or don't. Racing for bragging rights and fun, not dust collectors or sheep stations. On a measured course with tunnel friendly water (well most of the time anyway!)

I will be there and plan on doing some seriously fun tunnel boat racing. Mod A outboard, Sport A outboard, EA tunnel.

Would be good to get lots of tunnels (Inboard and outboard). Leave the mono's and hydro's at home if you have tunnels to run, it leaves more time for tunnel racing!

I should have some of John Otto's new 45 size prop shafts arriving in the next few days. I'm currently running Hyperformance with no issues at all, but I'm keen to test the new ones.

Still looking for more out of the Nova 46 but I haven't had too much test time..

I could always tell Dion i will get his boat running good for him over that weekend...his thing is a weapon, just needs to do more than 3 laps LOL (Fixed that yet Dion? )

Hopefully everything should be right Brad, got all new bearings in the motor now, i didn't put a Phenolic cage one in the top, couldnt be bother spending too much on the motor haha. I am surprised how good it all still looks inside, plus the compression is GREAT. SOOOO tempting to do some flow work and grind a turbo on the crank, but all still as you gave it to me buddy!

Kept te large bearing for an emergency spare, still felt like it was in good condition...

I will give it a go on Sunday Greg, it has definately had alot more use than my 8701!

Fuel system in the boat seems to hold a bit of pressure but it will probably be out and in a bucket of water later on should put a no23 on it, seems to bring a little luck
