Ron, hang on! That's my tip... Everyone get out of the way, like it or not its a serious weapon! :)

Try lengthening the pipe that it came with .25" and try from there. Did u get a prop or 2 from him too?
Kris,

The boat is a rocket. It was easily one of the fastest 21 tunnels at the WTC. The rough water and serious windy conditions kept me at bay, but good water is going to be a hoot. I am playing around with the setup and it is getting closer. I will keep you all updated. Thanks. You did a great job building this boat... :)

You may want to add some weight to that beast Ron. It's a little pocket rocket!!! Good luck keeping it on the water !!!
Dion,

Still working on the weight/CG. This thing is a hoot to drive. When it second stages hold on!!!... :) Jeremy's pipes are killer for sure.

Timbo with a fast hull.............

Lookin good Bryan,

Gene

Can't wait to get this one wet. Should be interesting to see how it compares to the HTB290.

Hats off to Bryan for the paint job, and Mossy for the vinyl numbers.

Nice paint job as usual :) looking forward to seeing that Vision at the Winter Spec?

It's -4 here atm and calm for now so looking to do some tunnel testing.

Perfect weather but just couldn't get the Nova 46 to come on with the new carbon pipe. Seems to me picking the measuring point may not be so easy and it may be the header is just too short at this altitude. Tried a range of props to no avail.

Greg,

Start small on the prop, 45-47mm dia, until you find the sweet spot on the pipe length. Then start moving up on diameter and pitch. What length are you now? High altitude is going to affect it for sure.

Running the new factory button with clearance at about .012. This was the first run day on the SPP after running on a Silver Bullet reasonably successfully, but thirstily. I'll have to have a good look at the pipe to work out the exact length but the whole thing is pulled down for cleaning right now. I had one of those days today with a shaft failure in my 46 hydro tearing the bottom out of the tub...

This engine is one of the new ones. Got it just before the Nationals. Started running today when it was about 1 degree. No cooling water at all and head was hot but not as much as we usually go for.

Probably just my poor measurement of pipe length...
