K+B made a few 3.5s.. the one you have is what's known as the 12mm motor. It used a 12mm ID rear bearing.
The flywheel profile and the thickness of the head button are dead giveaways.

Later and for the rest of the production they were all 13mm motors BUT.. in a few different configurations.

Parts for the 12mm motor can be a bit more difficult to find. The crank case between the 12 and 13 are not interchangeable.

I should go on to say however... there could be mix and matched parts in the motor.. but if you feel its untouched then its a 12mm unit

Mike just touch on some of the difference. There were many different iterations over the years. One of the reasons why the namba stock motor rule allows for swapping of parts. It came so many different ways.
