It may be ok not much room, like the other side better. Cant a temporary set of steps be installed? There was some brush to be cleared out too that blocks a view of the lake. here the east side road about same on both side of road. That sounds great that east side is a bit narrow for the proper pit area.

We stop and checked out the campground last Sunday. Looks like good area for pit setup west side of lake. there room for 1 line tents between road and lake, tent and trailers on west side of road in camping area. What plan is there for a dock or something to launch boats?

60% is $56 a gallon or $255 for 5 gallon, no 4 gal case discount
