Upstate New York in July is a great time of year there. When they still ran at the pond next to the Elmira airport a group of us from D12 would go up for the July race. Sure was different grabbing a jacket or sweatshirt when the sun hit the tree line vs. roasting like eggs on a skillet in Virginia. Unfortunately due to commitments already made for July 2016 it's highly unlikely I could go but if not for that yeah I'd be there.

I would like to attend as well with 3 boats.

NAMBA Nats is supposed to be in mid-June. So, late June to early July could be a good time.

I've already booked vacation for next summer. If it falls on the two weeks I'm off I'll be attending. When were you thinking?

Thinking July 14th-17th.......... not set in stone. The restaurant did block this weekend off for us.
Thanks for the reply Matt. That's at the beginning of my two week vacation and probably not going to be able to get the Thursday and Friday before. My wife has the highest seniority in her department and has to submit vacation at the first of November. Kudos to you and your club for stepping forward and taking on such an event. I'll be sure and attend as many weekend races at your site as possible in 2016. I'll watch to see if anything changes in the meantime.

For those considering the Nitro Nats in Rochester - there are many close by attractions that could be added to make it a family vacation - among them are Niagara Falls is about an hours drive; Tornoto, Ontario is approx 4 hours away; major theme Park, Darien Lake is approx 45 minutes away - and not to forget the famous Garbage Plate that the restaurant at Carey Lake serves!

Our group is in as well as long as nothing changes between now and then. Looks like it will be a great site and race. Good luck putting this race together and keep us updated. Thanks.

I'm in if the date will not change.

My only concern is about 1/8th scale class. Here in D1 we mixte the 1/8th scale with sport 60 because they have more sport 60 than 1/8th scale.

I know this will not please some and i don't want to start debate on that but what you will do with that?

Thanks!

Seb...I sent you a Pm on FB to tell you why you won't be allowed to run the SP 60's with the 1/8 scale at this event,

I understand. To bad because this 2 class have the same rules exept the paint sheme rule.

I will put more time in my sport 20 and 40!!!
