Received a 2011 Picco 45 today. WOW the Engine looks Great & has a Billet Piston. Later this week I will have a chance to measure the engine. But the picco 45`s have been on the same numbers so a while.I dont expect this to be radical diff on timing numbers. The 40 class boats should be buzzzzzzzzzz with as many 40 motors that are on the Market [email protected] is the Contact & he has the Ability to Get Frank O to do a few Modifed Ones too.......WOW !!!!!!!

Here's a picture of the new 2011 Picco 45. I just got a phone call from one of the top boat racers in Australia who says that this engine outperforms any other 45 engine he has run.

How much for it and what are the cost of replacement P/S?

David

I've had so many people interested and to be fair to those who have been inquiring I've continued the special price of $ 395. David, if you send me your email address, I'll send you a list of replacement parts.

I have known about this motor since last Septemeber

regards Aaron

Mike / Joe How does the rod hold up?
Bill the entire engine looks Great, This engine does have a New Design connecting rod & Mike sells a 303 stainless flywheel Cone. You will soon see these Engines SCREAMING around your Local pond...... I believe it is Picco`s Best Engine Yet!!!! Difference are also New Designed High Flow Crankcase & the Piston is Billet & Loop Ported. Motor also has piston cooling holes drilled in liner under ex port window. I will be very interested in seeing Frank Orlic Modified Version of this New Engine!

Talked to a boater in Australia yesterday who said that he has had no problems with the rod. I still think that you have to have the patience and knowledge on how to break the engine in. That goes for any engine. He said this new engine in his rigger is far outperforming any other engine he has had in it and is his words "out of this planet"

Hi Joe, please let me know what you're findings are between this new Picco and your .45 VAC. I'm looking to put new power in my .45 Rigger and would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks,

Elias

I've had a few of these 2011 Picco P45-R engines (blue-head/black case) for like a year now, they are very nice.

Was hoping to get an Orlic or Zoom carb, not available at the moment. I guess others are modifying the stock carb
