2009 IMPBA D2 Sport 40 Series

I would like to get a feel for how many people will be participating in this years District 2 Sport 40 series.

I would also like to find out if the people who are going to participate would rather pay a fee and the winners get traditional trophies or if people would rather not pay a fee and have the winners get certificates.

Congrats on the D-2 Director appointment.

I will be running in spt 40 and scale class this year, but, I'm only racing a limited schedule.

I have always been a fan of series trophies. Certificates are fine too though. Maybe we could recycle some old trophies no one wants and save some bucks?

I will be running Sport 40 and scale. Do you know who has the traveling district sport 40 trophy?

I have donated trophys back to scale series when I moved. I just kept all the name plates. The last couple of years the sport 40 trophies were plaques.

I plan on running Sport 40 and Scale, Certificates are fine or recycled trophies. I'd sure like to see some more sport 40's at the races, it seems like we were only seeing 5-6 of them at the races last year excluding the bigger D2 races like Celina or the Northern Nats.

I don't think there ever was a traveling trophy for sport 40. We always gave trophies first thru third. At least that's how it was when I won it. For a while Steve was having jackets made for the winners. Scale has the perpetual trophy in D2.

One of the Betke's will have a sport 40 this year. Not sure who's driving it.
