Heating lipos

I know some people will think thats its unsafe. The problem is where i am in sweden its about degrees 10c out most days my lipos arent liking it.
Im looking for tips:
safe temps
Heating metods
If its a bad idear

Im just trying to learn and have some fun boating even as it gets colder

I put mine in a cooler with a heating pad (the kind for sore muscles) set on medium. Older heating pads did not have a safety timer built in so they stay on new ones turn off after a while.

Hello Peter,

Surely you can find a local version for your AC supply.

Just make sure the heated bag does not get too hot.

We had to warm up 42 6S packs in our hydro when the temperature was around 50 degrees F early in the morning. We used hair dryers. For model boating I have a cooler/heater to store the batteries. In the past I could plug it into the car to heat the batteries on the way to the race.

Is it OK to store LiPo's in a cool place, say 10 deg C?

That's a little cold. Ideally it is room temp. however, if the only safe place is 10DegC than better that then in the house.
