2008 District 7 Schedule?

I am looking for any scheduled races in IMPBA District 7. Anybody know anything?

Other than the one in New Braunfels in February, I have heard a rumor of a race in Houston back at the old Love's Marina site sometime soon. Don't know specifics yet.....

This was in an e-mail from our new district Director Buddy Stone:

"The 2008 racing season for District 7 will begin Feb. 9th & 10th with the South Texas Racing Team hosting the Texas SUPER RACE in New Braunfels, Texas. The Lone Star Model Boat Clube has tentative plans to host races on March 29th & 30th, May 24th & 25th, and Oct 4th & 5th."

Are the Dallas guys not going to have a race this year?

As far as the Dallas Club I don't have any info. I am not a member of their club, yet. I do know when they meet so, I am going to attend their next meeting and find out their racing agenda. The nice thing is that I live 10 minutes away from the pond at McInnish Park in Carrollton. I am planning to attend the Super Race in February, I just need to get off my butt and send in my registration form and get my boats prepared.
