Mark Bullard and I met with Ernie La Fleur of Winnie, TX and Richard Johnsey and Mark Hopper of Jackson, TN and worked out all of the details for the RACERS Group to host the 2005 Internats at the Jackson, TN race site dates will be July 23-30, 2005. All we are waiting for is the Jackson Club to have a meeting in order to grant permission to use the lake and a Board meeting to approve the bid for this event and site. They are planning to use the same format as last year 2004.

The "Racers Group" is a group of racers selected to work positions at the Internats.

Ernie and Richard will be doing the selection. John Equi has volunteered to run the timed events. This will be run similarly to the 2001 and the 1988 Internats.

Specialty Classes at this time will be Open Mono, Open Cat, Multi-engine Shootout, Kids class, B Sport Tunnel, and Sport 20 Hydro.

I have been asked to work the event in the same capacity as this past year and I have accepted. It was a pleasure to serve last year and I am honored to get the chance to do it all again in the spirit of promoting this great hobby!

Those of you who didnt make it last year should try and make it if at all possible!

Ron

I am glad you accepted the offer Ron you were key last year in the sucess of the event last year your scoring was flawless. You had better get your sport 40 running as good as your scoring program because I have mine running pretty good now.

Bill there will be a few that will rise Up and complain about the Nats being organized and run by a Private club. But the Private club is the only ones organizing the Premier event of the IMPBA for the coming year of 05. BOATERS... If your are Not going to Support RACERS CLUB for 05 Nats Atleast Don`t beat them Down I personally appreciate several racers are taking a lot of time out of their normal lives to get this together for the 05 racing season. The 05 nats can be the Biggest event ever with some support. THE DIST 05 MOTO is IF YOUR NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION ... YOU MUST BE PART OF THE PROBLEM??........ C you there in 2005 WARREN RACING....... ;)

Joe,

I cannot picture you running a gas boat. But they do say "Never say never!".

Come on back Craig and the rest of the Aussies! You could make the Namba Nats then come on over for the IMPBA Internats and from there go down to the Slidell, LA for the IMPBA Gas NATS Sept.15-18. Plus that is when most of IMPBA's District Five race kicks back in if you have the need for more racing.

I'd love to go but '05 isn't looking so good for me - '06 is a possibility.

this is good news...

Now we have but one responsibility and that is to have another I waters party.. we are going have to get TOM to show somehow.

Lets pick a open night.. Tom...?

Sounds good to me. Lets blow off the Hampton Inn this year and stay some place else. The old man will try to have us arrested again when we have the hospitality night. Not to mention the "friendly girls at the check in desk".

For Meet & Greet Nite..... :D That way it dont look like a Gang War in the streets @ the Motel. Especially after a few of the Worlds Best Drivers have had a Few Cold Ones........ I had a good stay @ the Hampton. But sounds like a few Did Not... :p
