Also, should we bring water boots? or is the launch area fairly dry? trying to pack as light as possible....

I don't know the exact address but it is located in the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

They will have big signs around the entrance and you can always just ask directions easy to find right off the main drag.

Launch area is DRY ! No boots required for launching boats.

All race sites in District Five have dry launch areas. When I moved down here from District four my rubber boots ended up rotting away from lack of use.

Thanks for the info Bill, do you know the name of the street that you refer to as "the main drag"?

Glad to hear about the dry launch, ill never forget the first time i went to a race and didnt bring rubber boots for a "wet" launch area.....It was a miserable three days with soaking wet sneakers.....
