Bruce and Paula have let me know that tonight we have reached our boat limit. This would include those entries in transit that we know about. Therefore, entries are now SHUT DOWN. However, we may allow a few entries in to complete heats to have full # of boats in. Also, we may consider adding Classic Thunderboat to the list. As we saw in Atlanta, this is a real crowd pleaser and this would be important to the town of Hobart. We will let you know if this happens and how many boats that we will accept for entries. About a week ago I topped $12,000.00 in prizes and this it continues to grow. I hope you are entered for this race. We have the absolute best collection of drivers coming in for this race that I ever seen in my 30+ years of experience in racing. WOW.

This is gonna be a blast. Hotel reservations are done (thanks Bob) and 5 gallons of my fuel went back north with Mikey from the Atlanta race. Now just need to book plane tickets and car rental then I'll be set other than shipping boats up. Hobart's gonna be rockin' in September. A BIG thanks to Stu and Bruce for this one! :D

Still looking if someone from my area is going, and no I don't need a ride-lol. :p

Andy
Marty, Norm, Mark and Chad are coming. They are kind of from your area.
Thanks , they have also been kinda QUIET about coming or so it appears. :rolleyes:

If one of guys are willing, give me a shout, I have an item that needs a ride back from the lake if you have room.

Andy

I am a passenger ...I think.. We have not worked out plans yet. I think there may be two more going. I was thinking of flying BUT I just priced a rental car. It would be cheaper for me to buy an old heap in Chicago then rent a car. LOL

What did you want brought back... a mysterious package? Someone's Grandma? :)

It may not be better, but Indy airport is right on the interstate465 and 2.5 hours from Hobart.

Chicago Ohare is 1.5 from hobart for only 60 miles.

Bruce; Did you get Rod and Nub's entries.. ?
Yep, they entered at Atlanta

Based on the amount of boats and drivers I have received, and after seeing the new Classic Thunder boats run at Atlanta. I have decided to add them to the show in Hobart and add 2 heats of this class. First 16 boats recieved get in. Due to an error on my part on the D-14 series and some of the guys in the points chase not getting in, I have added 1 more heat in 1/8th Scale. And after all the ways I have tried to work the math, I now have now determined there is no way to get 5 rounds in, so we will be running 4 rounds of heat racing for the Masters. 1 round on Friday along with the 5 rounds of the Multi engine race. We will run 3 heats of 6 boats in Multi, then 10 heats of other classes, then round 2 of multi, and continue till all 15 heats of the multi and all 60 plus heats of round 1 are done.Scale will run 4 rounds of heat racing, no consi/main. The turn out for this race has been overwelming. I tried to limit the classes and boats, but I hate to turn anyone away, so to put on a good show, if I only run 4 rounds, we should finish up mid day Sunday. I apologize to those that were unable to get in, but I just can't get them all in and end the race on Sunday. Thanks many times over for your support of this race and let's make Hobart proud they picked us to see if the newly remodeled lake can generate some interest.

Bruce;

once you get the line up finished, would you please list the classes and who entered each one?

thanks.

and, no, i won't be entering F hydro with a certain blue boat again. I still fell crappy about it.
