Well, in what seems to be the never ending attempt to sort through 50 years of model boating stuff, I came across a couple of hardware items from back around '89 to '91 when my son, Paul, was racing 1/8 Scale in RCU.
The rudder blade is stainless steel - 4 1/2 long, with a 1 1/2" to 1 1/16" taper. The 3/16" shaft is 3 1/4" long.
The turn fins are stainless steel - 4 1/2" long and 2" wide and flat. There is one mounting bracket
With shipping, I'd like $15 for the rudder.SOLD
For the fin & bracket, I'd like $20 with shipping and $18 for just the fin.
Although it won't mean much to most who would read this post, the hardware was made by Ron Erickson of Seattle. When I began racing model boats in 1965 Ron was "The Main Man" in both racing and making hardware for model boats.
