I have a new 67 Red head in my twincraft deep V which has only two tanks of fuel run thru it so it is not even broken in yet. We have decided to retire this boat & swing over to gas. Would you or anybody else be interested in purchasing this engine or the whole boat?

Piston & Sleeve on new OPS red head are very different from old Gold Head 67 There are extra porting slots. Rod length is the same but the newer red head came with a better rod in that the rod has oil holes on both ends for better lubrication.

I have raced with OPS engines for over 30 years & will stack it up against an equal displacement CMB anytime. One suggestion - put a OS MAX 9B Carb on it fore better response & easier tuning.

Go to Tower Hobbies.com Scroll to their parts store then select OS Parts - then select OS 9B Carbs (Keep Scrolling - it is toward bottom of list.) You will find the inlet nipple with gasket & all other parts for this carb.

It is the original OPS 65 with a built in water cooling jacket, I ran them for over 20 years. All current OPS 67 parts will still fit this case. I wish I still had this case. They were bullet proof & the cooling was great.

I have a Flow Meter using a Magnahelic and a Bernzomatic Tank for propellant. I have yet to find a very small regulator to maintain precise pressure control when I open the tank valve. Some boaters used a Rego Regulator in the past which was very small & compact but I cannot get the exact part...
