I had not planned on selling any of the 1/8 scale 35 Cigarette hulls. Too many other projects going on. I could possibly do a decal set for Dry Martini and a few other offshore boats. I am in the UK though.

This is a little bit too laid back (could only just turn the hydro around in the full width of Legg lake) but certainly I think a more upright unit could easily be machined up in one piece.

I've had these new parts knocking around for quite a while. My main question is is it worth using this speed control for marine use. It could have been an old blog but it said Castle had stopped making speed controls for marine use. The same blog was showing how to make these ESC's water cooled...

This is a little Honda GX160 engine I built a while back using quite a bit of 3D resin printing together with fiberglass and conventional and CNC machining techniques. Some of the resins and filaments available now are showing amazing properties. Its very exciting times in the 3D printing arena...

The best oil for power I have used is Shell Advance M. Both in the boat motors and kart engines. You can not buy it any more. Outlawed in both Europe and the US for quite a while. Apparently not kind to aquatic life. If you can find some it normally goes for lots of coin. 16 to 1 to 10 to 1...

Because I have no idea how the boat is going to run. It is truly scaled off the real boat and as we know that is not normally a good thing. More 3D printed parts.

I grabbed my aircraft transmitter to test the system out and used the flaps switch which was set at off, half flaps and full. funny! That is how it is setup now. Starts on half flaps. 👍

I made the plug a while ago and had a friend helped me with the moulds. It was supposed to be a one off but I got convinced to take some mouldings. Single Zenoah.👍

I use standard PETG for pretty much everything.
