I have a question. What type of paint are you going to use? Is there a all around high build primer that will work with let's say paint from House of Color?

I have been using for years and am extremely satisfied with Interlux Epoxy Prime Kote.
It is extremely thick(must thin for spraying) fast drying and sands like spackle. (Very easy to sand)
It is pricey, but a perfect base for any paint.

Jamestown distributors has a better prime on the primer
Amazon has better pricing on the reducer/thinner required.
Clean up with lacquer thinner.

Terry, I'm going to ask a stupid question, is this stuff in a rattle can or do you use a spray gun? I had my boat painted at a auto repair shop and they charged me just under $700.00.

I use the rattle can Rustoleum 2X gloss, and Spray Max 2K clearcoat.
