Hey Bruce, I experienced first hand where the gt3c and gt3b can be a bit of a pain to initially set up. If you ever decide to bump up to the Noble, the touch screen is great and makes it so easy to set up. My dog could do it!

Don't forget to check out Promodeler Servos. I've changed all my boats over to this brand. Military grade servos and John is great to deal with. Compare the quality, price and specs to other brands.

    Radio discussion

I've been in this hobby for 45 years. I used Futaba radio systems only and never even thought about using anything else. 3 years ago I decided it was time to replace my 3pm fasst system. The radio still worked great but I had money to burn so I dived into researching the latest and greatest...

Toroid propeller Has anyone tried one of these propellers on there real boat?

Very intriguing. I've been kicking the tires on purchasing a Sharrow prop for our families 87' Four Winns 200 Horizon/350 Chevy/Cobra Drive bow rider. I've also followed the 3d printing of the drone props and they seem to perform well. Could this design benefit us r/c boat geeks? Can you 3d...

    Winter project

Looks very well done. The Whips are great boats! They're easy to dial in, very fast and always run smooth! Dang it. Now I'm missing mine that I sold! 🤔 I did the same set up using a Quickdraw pipe with a 1/2" offset and it cleared the cowl/locks nicely.

    Daniel Ellison Gas Sport Hydro

Hey buddy, if it ain't fast enough, I know a guy.. Hi Mark, in that old Whiplash video I was running a stock 2716/2 15 rake that I pitched up at the pond with my old rusty pliers and got lucky. On the new boat, it doesn't look like it'll pack much air up front and I'm running the 27...

    Daniel Ellison Gas Sport Hydro

You would have to contact Dan for current pricing. Nothing wrong with that! I know there are new innovative products on the market and other ways of doing it but this is the way I've been doing it for many years and has never failed me. I'm a big fan of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

    Insane synergy sport hydro

I was thinking quicker acceleration rather than overall speed being the "it" factor when using the wire drive vs a cable. Am I correct?

    Winterizing gas carb.

I take them apart, shoot Gumout through every orifice, rub a little wd40 on new gaskets, new dry diaphragms and you're good to go. Don't forget new gas tubing and IV bag.
