For vintage project.

Also wondering how it compares in shape to the small Octura #1427 if anyone has both handy to see if one could be trimmed down to match the Dumas. I don't have either in hand to compare myself.

If the Octura is a good substitute for a starting point (the prop is still going to be run with an .049) I guess I'll be looking for one of those to try out - file - hammer - shape - ect to work good with the boat under that power.

I already have the Dumas plastic ones but I'm looking for all metal. Dumas says they won't ever be made again until someone wants to pick up the tab on getting a batch made. They still have the mold but no plans to ever run it again.

They never did respond to me as to what pitch theirs is. I only know Dumas is 1" Diameter, and the Octura is 1.07" Dia. with roughly a 1 1/2" Pitch, both being 1/8" bores.

Is anyone familiar with both this kind of engine and prop and can could work with mono and hydro / surface or submerged? I'm building most of the Dumas .049 hulls. SK-Daddle Jr. (Flat Bottom), SkeeVee 10 (Deep V), Atlas Van Lines (Hydro)
