WTB a Youngblood Hull

I believe Mountain Hobbies aquired the original Youngblood molds and re-produced them under the name "Malibu" ? (ie. Malibu 45, Malibu 32, etc.,...). They sure look exactly like the original Youngblood design.

Not sure if Mountain Hobbies is still around?

This is a Youngblood hull. Notice it's a clamshell design opposed to a shoebox that you often see. On the clamshell the top deck does not overlap the hull.

are you referring to the "overhang" edge found on the Steve Muck hulls?

Jim Youngblood did a beautiful job on these hulls. The polyester resin lay-up was very clean throughout, and noticeably lightweight.

I am wanting to buy a Youngblood mono hull in a 20 size

the Steve Muck Streaker hulls, although uniquely different in style of construction, can perform as well as a comparable Youngblood hull, I believe. It's all about the hull bottom design. The Muck hull is slightly heavier, and features the flange where the deck is joined to the hull.
