Guys, I race with my son and he has a buddy thats been coming along with us for about 2 months for practice and to races. I have a older 40 boat that I plan to give him to get him started into the hobby and an old FM futaba. I am looking for good but used 40 motor that someone does not run anymore. Not too fusy about make just want rear exhaust since the boat is set up that way. I do not want to spend a bundle since I plan to give it away.

I can find stuff on Ebay but that a real crapshoot. I want a motor from someone that understands what he is selling. It does not help me to get a motor that needs to be gutted and have everythung replaced. Older motors like OPS or K&B just fine.

Can anyone help me.

Thanks

Ken

Hi Ken..

If you can give me a few days, I think I can fix you up with a runnable K&B 7.5, or 6.5 inboard. $30.00, shipped.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Steve Ball

Ken,

I have 3 K&B 7.5 disk rotor motors that have been sitting for a long time. They need cleaned up, but I am sure you could make at least one good one out of them. You can have them if you want them, just send me your address and I will ship them to you.

Buddy

Also there are extra cases and some other parts in the bag too.

Ken, you can't beat Buddy's deal! Go for it! I'm backing out.

Thanks,

Steve Ball

Guys I just wanted to post this pick and let you know what a class act Bill (Buddy) Benedict is. He sent me all these parts to put together a motor free of charge. I asked him to at least let me pay the postage and he did not reply. Its great to be associated in a hobby with guys like this. I will follow up with a post of Brice with his new 40 rigger who just joined NAMBA.

Thanks a million to Buddy Benedict.

Brice and his new 45. Thanks again to Buddy for contributing the motors. Boat ran well on its maiden run today

John Brown ran a disc valve K&B .45 in his Eagle SGX rigger at the Fall Nationals in Charleston last weekend. It ran very well.
