Selling a New never used Brent Byers wire drive setup. I have handled the parts and played with mockup in a boat but never actually fully installed or used.
Full disclosure it is on eBay also.

Asking $170.00 shipped in the lower 48 states.

Setup includes an Speed master extended strut.
Coupler for 8mm shaft brushless motor.
Collet for alignment tool and alignment rod used for install/setup.
Collet for wire drive.
1/4" setup turned down to 3/16"
Pre-bent aluminum tube is aprox 18.5" long and has guides inside it.
Wire is around 35" long ready to be trimmed down.
Also includes a "shaft saver" and clamp for your brass tube to snug up to the aluminum tube.
Comes with 9 page install/setup instructions.

I asked that the setup be built to handle 40+k rpms and 15kW.

My digital calipers battery died on me, but appears to be right at 3mm.

Brent uses precision 0.125in wire.

Precision metric wire is not readily available in the US, but Imperial is. I have to buy my precision metric wire material from Germany.

I had a similar experience with local machine shops.
"What is a millimeter"
Followed by spending the next 3 days converting my drawings to thousandths of an inch
