I remember you.You did give me a price quote and it was alittle salty/meaning to pricey. My boat is only 28"long.All I need is the letters and logos that are on this boat.

At 120.00 dollars?? I maybe can see it for a 1/8 scale? But my boat is alot smaller then 1/8 scale. Or was that price for vinyl shrink wrap?

I had Mike at proline do the decal for my proboat i don't remember how much i paid, but i think it turned out good, The next year proboat came out with there miss elam. so it was a little waste of money in a way, but it was a good practice for a 1/8 scale.

I might add that i have heard alot of good thing about Wesley's work.

It is not necessairly the size that dictates the price but the time involved. Anyway, if price is a concern, I have seen a few people pull the stuff off the internet and print them on label paper on their printer with some success. You MUST clear over them very carefully and it takes time but it can be done. Before you ask, NO I will not send you what I have. It takes me many hours to do them and sometimes several tries to get them right. I have to sell 1 to 2 sets to brake even at the price I quoted you. Take what ever you make an hour and multiply it by 4 to 6 hours and tell me what you would charge me to make them. Then we will talk about this $24000. machine I have sittin here. OK I'll get off my box now...OK I'm a little grouchy right now, anyway, you can do it with a little time and effort.

Go without elletric and food for a few days and see what happens! Wes does a great job on good vinyl some things just cost money. You got to weigh what you want vs what it costs.

beside the 120.00 dont you think your project is worth that. i mean to compliment you , you did a really nice job of duplicating the paintwork .... so i would spend the extra cash and do it right the whole way and make it look really nice with some of wes's stuff.. it is top notch and if you take pride in your work at all sometimes the price never becomes a factor.

I'm not knocking on his work! But the price. saymikey,(quote)Go without elletric and food for a few days and see what happens! Wes does a great job on good vinyl some things just cost money. You got to weigh what you want vs what it costs. If you had a small boat would you pay that cost? I was told by acouple of guys that my boat isnt worth spending that much money on decial.Like I said before maybe for a 1/8 I might? But this is a 1/12 scale proboat. As for going without electric and food for a few days? Well that hasnt happend yet because I keep my bills payed 3-4 months ahead Just in case I have a slow month or two of work. I'm self employed,I do autobody and paint for aliving.Wesley custom graphic,I never ask you to send me anything!! All I said that I needed made up on my boat is lettering and the Oberto logo's No graphic.

Just my 2 cents,

There really isn't that much of a difference in the size of a 1/8 - 1/12 scale , wouldn't that be going from a 4" sticker to a 3" sticker? If the object of this is to look as close to scale as possible then ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I would think making the smaller sticker would be exactly the same amount of work as the larger?

The Reason you painted your boat the way you did was the china quality you didn't like? Because you can paint it was easy for you, but for a person that doesn't paint it would probably have cost the same price as a scale boat because all the same detail would have to be followed.

You Get What you Pay For, Cheap is just that Cheap. This isn't used goods its new custom for you goods.

you could go to the store and get some oberto beef jerky and cut the labels off the package and just glue them on there if you dont want to spend the dough. i am sure after about 30 coats of clear they would blend in a bit? just my .02 good luck with your project and i was wondering if i sent one of my boats to you would you paint my circus circus 1/8 scale for 120.00 ? and give me quality work. if so let me know really soon. thank you.

That is one of the nicest ProBoats I've seen.....good job.

Who ended up doing the graphics?
