Unfortunately that cowl is a one shot deal cowl that belongs to one of my club mates. we never made a mold of it and the boat is 39" long a little bigger than the regular whip your building.

I am going to use a ABC PLASTIC COWL, one Mark used for a sport 40 he designed. I haven't tried yet getting it in place. It is ROUNDED AND SLOPES DOWN TO THE BACK OF THE BOAT. NO VERTICAL TAIL.

Doc, try one of these. Mike Luszsz makes them at ML Boatworks for his SP 40 line.

yes! that yellow sport 40 in my gallery... guess what thats a regular blazer cowl all i did was cut off the vertical fin section and in the void i shaped a piece of foam that protruded past the existing cowl and sanded the foam to match creating that stealth look. then laminated it with fiberglass and when it was cured i removed most of the foam. i just left some for floatation. the second one the black one in my avatar is a Phil Thomas cowl that i grafted to fit the gen 2 sport 40 since the deck is a little different from the gen 1. i loved that yellow gen 1 boat it ran great!

Just remember abs plastic and nitro fuel don't mix. Paint it well with good primer, base,and clear coat.

Spray it with BULL. Can get it at PPG store. It is for plastic rubber bumpers to get paint to adhere
