My retrieve boat is a inflatable raft with oars I got from Boaters World for $30.00. I also have a fishing reel with a tennis ball which works good also.

Mike :)

Yo Mike....you had that raft hauling A$$.. .....maybe your Oars will work better than my K-mart specials

You can take a small electric boat, hook your fishiing reel string to it. Drive the little boat out and around your dead boat. Then reel both boats back in. You can do this with basically any size electric boat. Ken

I use a 50 dollar zig-zag boat I got off of ebay. And I use the same method ken was talking about with the fishing reel. Works great and it's fun to boot! :D

Kevin....Thats funny! I was hauling a$$ out to get the boat, but coming back was a diffrent story!! Anyway's,I got the strut how its SUPPOSED to be,vice that nice pond special we had going on!!!  I also put some more throw in the rudder. Yia!!! Just add a skier to your rope and he will pick it up   B)

I bought a Zig-Zag Racer for just what you want to do. I added a cup hook low on the transom and used one of the included balls and line to connect to the boat. It does work but I always start playing with the boat running the battery pack dead.

The oars from K-mart suck, I've broken a lot of those. The ones from Wally-world are much stronger. Harbor Freight has some aluminum ones every so often on their site.

I really like my Tug with the PVC X, I have gotten to the point where if the boat is not to far across the lake I dont even need the X I can just drive up next to the stranded boat and work it like a real Tug boat would.

Ken has a great idea, MAKE sure you have a least 550' of line, even on a small

pond, if you dump it wat out?

I've seen guys push their boats under the water trying to tow their boats in, when they get to the shore their radio boxes are always full of water. So tape, tape tape really good or you'll have wet electronics.
