What to do now?

Guys;

Need your advise,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My Daughter (Amanda) said she wants to start racing her B Mono again starting the Summer after her classes

are done with at JMU.

The mono in question is the same one I have been running for the last 10 yrs. here in Dist. 12.

The guys in Dist. 12 know what boat I am talking about.

Question is, if I let her ( which I know I will do) race the B Mono:

1. Build new a new one and have to race against her?

2. Just let her race it and wipe everyones you know what with it?

3. De-tune it a bit so that she only runs about mid-pack during a heat?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Don't restrict the kids by de-tuning!! I say turn them loose and try your best to help them control the throttle finger? Kids reflexes are much better than us Old People and trust me she will be fine and be more appreciative that Daddy did trust me??

Or...do what I do...build a second one and race against your kid. My son and I have a blast trading bragging rights! Plus, in district 9, where we race we need all the boats we can muster to keep the nitro burning...we both run sport 21, A mono and B mono...

Build another one and race against her, it will be loads of fun and you can't put a price on a college kid who wants to hang with dad racing boats. Kobie will be racing against me this summer....the young guns are coming!

Carl, that motor runs smooth as is and the boat is def. Consistant...let her run it the way you have it setup! I agree with setting up another one for yourself to run in that class with her!

I say cut her loose with the 40 boat as is and let her have some fun with the boys, for you - step up to 60 or 90 mono , that way you can still pit each other
