One thing I have noticed is the e-mail notification that you've received a p/m has stopped working, at least for me. I have gone in & tried to reset it, also cancel it & wait awhile then re-enter it but no change. Anyone else?

everything is normal with me, don.... well, at least my IW account :p . just the few lost posts i've noticed, during the actual switch.

The site is really slow today, I could have timed the loading with a sundial! It'll probably take at minimum 30 seconds to one minute for me to see this posted.

All good with me 'cept for one little thing...... you don't get e-mail telling you that you have an Intl'Waters message.

is the gallery still the same? I couldn't post a lot of pictures because the picture itself was too big.... or maybe , being the original "techno-dunce",

I just don't understand how to do it. is there a tutorial of some kind on how to post pics?

Good work Tom and crew ( as always).......

Bob the Fool

I don't know what's going on but for me. The site is slow. It's taking over 90 seconds to loed a page on a high speed cable connection. Am I on the wrong site or something?????

it should never be slow for you ron..... the server is in your backyard practically..... keep an eye on it for me. I find and fix the mail server problem but that should not have slowed it down.

Ton, even for it being practically in my backyard it's awfully slow. Back when I was still on dial-up this site loaded fast. It was quick the first few days but for the last two it's been terrible.

Before posting that yesterday I checked with other sites including eBay which used to be about the slowest loading and even that was fine.

I also noticed that the Fast Reply button isn't working for me

Make sure you don't have the lo-fi version enabled, bottom center of the screen. I know it's just a simpler screen but it acted real stupid on my home computer. ;)

wierd how it has affected certain settings, but not for all members  ......... absolutely nothing has changed in my IW account settings, & the site works great for me so far, tom, THANX AGAIN for all the extra time & effort the switch over has entailed.

i have never seen it slow myself. being sporadic i have to think it is either time related or just the connection to the internet the server has.

pay attention to the time when it is slow. i see most posts are in the morning??

also if you look at the very bottom you can see the page load speedvery first thing next to "Lo-Fi Version" for example this took .0440 sec to load

0.0504 sec which was crap as it took a lot longer than that! Without a stopwatch handy I would estimate a good 45 seconds or more. Let me know where they're at and I'll go feed the hamster that's running the hard drive. I'm not on low-fi either got my AOL Top Speed on and everything.

I didn't post the fiest time until I checked other sites to see how they loaded to see if it was a problem on my end.

I just tried bypassing my AOL/Charter by just using the IE 7 and it loads MUCH faster!

AOL is junk...anyone using that to browse site like these should switch to Internet Explorer 7 or better yet Firefox. I had the same complaints on Modelgasboats.com and 99% of the time, after investigating, the users with issues were using AOL. There was another bad one too, but it slips my mind at this time...getting late lol. This site is lightning fast for me, even though I am in the great white north! lol
