Does any manufacture make a waterproof servo the same size as the HiTec 225MG with at least 65oz of torque @ 6volts?

Cool, looks like a similar product like Corrosion X?

I saw some You Tube video where they use Plasti Dip and lithium grease to waterproof.

Thanks

The Trio is great stuff for waterproofing Corrosion x wont do what it does. I have run recievers with just the Trio on them in my electric boat with no tape on the cowl.

In fact dont ever clean your engine with it cause it will insullate your glow plug and it wont stay lit without the battery hooked up, I found that out the hard way ruined three plugs before I flushed it out of the engine.

I've seen the Plasti-Dip and grease trick but after trying it out on a RX battery pack and it not working afterwards I won't be doing that again. I don't know of any 225-sized servo's that are waterproof but saying there aren't. Hitec, Savox and Traxxas are offering some now.

One issue could be that after they're dipped is that it might be tough to mount them.

I've done the dielectric before and it worked fine. Somebody on here I believe did corrosion x and dropped everything in the a cup of water and it worked fine.

Thanks for the tip Phil. I only use WD-40 followed by some Marvel air tool oil for blowing out nitro motors. How does the Trio work for electric motors? I use CorrosionX for that now.

Thanks Ron, I won't try that then. As of now HiTec and Traxxas does not make one comparable to a regular 225MG. I will check savax or just get some Trio and some silicone.

Well, a new RHT sport 20, NS 300, PS 300, Whip20 and a HTB 260. That should neglect the house enough. Whatever I'm not keen on will be for sale mid to end Sommer.

I was going to try them in my PT also but thought maybe you where thinking about using them in a tunnel for steering.

225 going to be enough torque???
i use 225's for steering on my .21 riggers & monos. use them for throttle on the tunnels.
Are you worried about the micros getting stripped out? The radio box in my new tunnel has slots for micros and I'm a bit worried about them hooked up to the outboard throttle:( but I suppose if the main steering servo foes it's job I should be fine... What you think??

never had micros last very long on tunnel throttles. the 225's are a little overkill, but last forever. mircos for third channel only on ob's for me. they work great for the throttle on my .21 inboards, just never had much luck on ob throttles with 'em. no problem getting 1 full size steering, a 225 throttle & a micro third channel servos in a vision radio box.
