Water pick up tube for outboard

Should I use the same size pickup tube that has been used for a nitro 3.5 tunnel or should I make my pickup tube the same diameter as the speed controller cooling tubes.

i use a drilled out OS water pickup on my 4S stuff...so I would say standard nitro size pickup is OK (as long as it is not restricted like the OS is).
