****;

Get well buddy and do what the Doc says.

Just found out yesterday, looks like I will need a left knee replacement with in the next 6 months.

In the mean time, get the Mrs. out to the garage and her going on the turn fin machines................. :rolleyes: :p

****, take care & heal up fast!! missed you this weekend at ft. richie. looking foward to seeing you next season at some d-12 ponds. wishing you a quick recovery (although they usually aren't at our age :p ).

Update on the rotator cuff surgery: everything seems to be doing well. The doctor said I could go without the sling around the house for short periods of time, I just can't raise my arm up ( doctor says that's a no-no ). Besides, any movement hurts real bad right now. The pictures he gave me look like a white ball wrapped in blue twine. I start therapy this Thursday and I got the same people that worked with me on my bad arm, so it should be interesting. I am bored to death watching TV and playing on the computer and not being able to do anything in the shop. I have the toilet duties figured out now, and the showers usually end up with more than one person getting wet ( get your mind out of the gutter...........I'm talking about getting clean, here! ). Last night was the first night I slept in a bed since the 19th. Eating soup with a spoon with my bad arm should be video taped and put on YouTube ! It just takes a while to find a routine.

I do appreciate the emails, phone calls, cards ( thanks, Nails! ) and well wishes from friends and fellow racers everywhere. It's nice to know people care about you and your wellbeing.I can't wait to get back in the shop and start hacking up aluminum again. Thanks to all of my customers for hanging in there with me.
