Thought about putting the Mongoose back into production...with a few improments. One of them also ran at this years Orlando winter nats. Pictured here with a Jag cowl.

Also note the old Youngblood! Old boats can still be fun to race! Bring them out! Vintage class or not!
Andy, we had an old timer that never raced and would make trips from NY to FL. and bring back stuff to us in D1. This was the early 90's, He showed up with a yellow Mongoose with a Rossi 90,lords motor mounts thru the bottom of the hull with nylon bolts, RTR. It became my Baby, I loved that boat and still have it. His name was Joe Boffa. B) ==={}

I remember Joe Boffa well. Is that the original yellow paint? If so, it is one that we painted with yellow Imron. The 67 mongoose pictured above was also painted with the same yellow Imron. We built many race ready Mongoose riggers in those days....all painted with Imron!

Bill Crawford use to do the same thing , we were always excited to see what he brought back from Florida in the Spring , it's amazing how the internet has changed all that.

Old photo of some stuff from back in the day. One of the first production RR 67, 21 Mongoose and a 80 A/S Cobra. I had a 45 Mongoose same color scheme. In those days Brian Charney was the man in D1 Namba, helped us all out with motors and setup. Believe he was one of the first to test the Eagle when it came out. B) ==={}

Guys this is awesome to see how the real boating spirit brings good memories back to many of us.I would enjoy to see a vintage class gathering all of the "hot dogs" in a big event sharing their stories! :)

Got a cool looking single Mongoose. It's over twenty years old. (^¿^)

It's sooooooooo much fun. (*¿*)
Bob 15 years ago when I was old I used to run Gooses and Jaguars from Tidewater. Now that I am young I run Roadrunners. I still have a twin Mongoose ready to run that has never seen water.
