Henry is very good about replying to questions, but I got my best advice on set-up from Gentleman racer Don Maher. I got a Ray Pellerino built Velasco, that never would run a full race, both Ray and second owner Don Osman could never get it to finish a six lap race. I knew I had to change the tanks to get it to run. It had the tanks on the right side. I ended up stripping the entire insides, putting in a bottom mount engine mount and mounting the tanks on the left side, next to the motor on a removable plate. Don M told me to put the tanks on the left side and try to get everything as far forward as possible. Will try to post pictures tonight. I have come to love the way this boat handles now, drives like a Cadillac. Don Osman is trying to get me to sell it back to him, when Henry comes North and sees it run he gets a great big smile, so do I ! Rudy
