It sounds like he's trying to scam someone on that site. If you are on that site, you could let that forum's admin/mods know of this.

This guy has tried to scam me twice once here and once on International water, but he steals pictures off all the sites even Ebay then he searches people looking for certain parts.
He knows , I was looking for a PL for an OS 65 and he produced pics of the parts, and he got the pics off an auctions house.
His MO is the same PP F&F only, and he has many PP named accounts.
I have sent all the info I have to PP, so maybe they can report it

Whoever is doing this may or may not be a member here. You can get on this site without logging in. A watermark would help I dont know if IW could make all photos here watermarked with a IW

I got robbed for 600 bucks on rc forum when I was a newbie on there he even emailed me taunting me what he did I sent it to PayPal and what do you think they did about it .they favored him regardless I will never use PayPal again they also once put a fraud alert on my account for no reason and screwed a couple vendors I deal with and had to call them with my cc info to make it right making me look like a doucher even though I talked to PayPal a hundred times and said the charges are legit and I made them .PayPal

I don't think there is much we can do, scammers spend all there time with one goal and that is stealing.
I'm at the point if I don't know the person and I can't pick up, I guess will just not buy.
The law will do nothing about this even if you have their name ,& address and scammers know this.
I had this 2 years ago being ripped off for 1600.00 I filed the complaint with my local Sheriff's department, then found out name and address( in the town I live in)
They told me the reward was to little for the cost to investigate.
And they where quick to tell me go by this house and say anything they will arrest me.
