How are you guys installing the VAC/BETA/EVO motors into a 21 mono with drop mounts? Neither my stock CMB carb nor a Zoom carb will fit between the mounts without interference. Anybody else having this problem and have a solution?

I know it looks like it fits in the pictures, but the throttle arm interferes.

interesting, I really like the very minimal engine mount rail configuration, have never seen it done that way. Which hull (brand) is that ?

Also, is that a SpeedMaster engine mount ?

Someone had mounts specifically for that motor made and had some available but I'm not remembering who. The rail needs to be made wider and ends milled away for carb and flywheel clearance. This makes the overall mount wider so the rest of th parts need to be reworked to make it 4". Otherwise a new mount!

I had to cut the mounts down to get my VAC to fit in the Speedmaster mounts.

You have to have the engine all the way forward on the mount and you remove some aluminum where the flywheel would run the mount.

That's what I have done.

That what I had to do for my sport 40 with my v5 motor as well

Tyler, The problem is you got the wrong glow plug in it.
