Uploading a PICTURE, I've done it before...

OK guys, I used to be able to upload a picture from my phone a few yrs ago. That was awesome, now days I can't. Yes, I got a new phone. Picture settings are at the lowest (640x480) standard size (not windscreen).

I know many others have had issues uploading pics also. It would be great if it was easier to do! Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Maybe Tom can change something, who knowes

Just go to the bottom of the page and click full version. That changes the site to look like it would if you were on a computer instead of your phone. Then go to the bottom of the page again and click more reply options. That will bring you to a page where you can attach files.

After your done posting, just scroll to the bottom of the page again and click the link on the left that says use mobil version. This will bring you back to the view made for your phone.

Are you hitting "more reply options" then browse for the photo you want to post. Just did one from my iPhone with no problems other than its upside down.

Tim I can show you at the meeting in a couple weeks if you haven't gotten it working by then.

Yes, I just tried again. Nothing, I have tried and tried again. I'm no a HTC (android). I tied both the basic uploader and the other that requires flash 9 for kicks, nothing.

Ok one thing I forgot to mention is after you hit the "choose your file" button, you have to hit the "attach this file" button. This will then add it to the post. I've attached screen shots of the buttons I am talking about, in the order you should click them. The third one shows what come up on my phone to browse to the photo, I have an iPhone so it's probably a little different but probably similar to what you'll see.

I was talking with Tim and he says he only has 17 kb not mb left of uploading space. I think that is his problem...

Which leads me to another question,,,, how do you find those pictures to delete easily? They are not in your gallery and why is there limited space for uploading in a thread? Sometimes you come across deleted pictures while searching in a thread and wish they where still present.

I only had 17.18MB left of pic space. I went to my content and deleted all old pics in my old posts I now have over 1.82MB

Works, I just needed to clear up some space. Guess I had too many pics in posts.

Go to your name, in upper right corner then click. Select my content, go through posts and delete images. That's what I had to do.

Clik on your name select my settings and look for manage attachments on the left. It show all your attached pic and you can select them to delete.

Yes, it will work if you don't have a lot of attachments already on the site. I just tan out of room.
