upgrade 6001

What is everyone using for upgrade 6001 bearing for zenoah with a radius on bearing were it meets crankshaft

I’ve been using the SKF Explorer series for a couple of decades, very good bearings imo.
6001 TN9 C3 to be exact

Those are a roller bearing correct.

I suggest the full complement.
Yes the work killer and have bin tested in 2800RPM CMB 1.01 eng's.
You only need one on each end of the crank.

ORS C3 P5 much better bearing

Finding bearings with the large radius can be difficult. Some zenoahs are not even coming with them lately. But it is easy to put the radius in the inner race with a dremmel grinding stone and a mandrel to spin the bearing. I use a plastic retainer bearing and dissassemble them, but with careful masking it is not manditory. Spin the bearing opposite direction of the Dremmel and grind the radius in, being careful not to get the race hot.

Joe, where can one get the ORS bearings, Covington, GA?.... aren't they manufactured in Turkey?
