A couple of posters suggested that my fins and wing were too solid, and could be an issue in a blow over.
I have re-engineered the mount system so it all 6-32 nylon bolts and hardware. I cut the mount tubes short enough, so they only locate the fins. I also made a threaded plate for the strut and rudder brackets.

What few instructions that came with the kit do specify paint codes. Do these look right?

Spent a little time on the scroll saw and belt/disc sander today. Got all the parts cut for engine mount from 1/4" birch aircraft 5 ply. Added 4" from my original patterns, incase I decide to put in a twin later on.

One recommendation I would make is to put drains in the bottom of the cross pieces. This will prevent water from being trapped around the engine rails since water will get inside the boat.
