"... Budweiser T-1 hull go to Chris Denslows smugmug site.

Hey Racer56,

Thank you for the localization of pics of the T-1 on the Denslow site - I appreciate the direct path. The Denslow site is excellent, just kind of like going to the grocery store and looking for something other than bread and milk.

I did find some VHS video entitled: "Unlimited Excitement" chronical of the early Bud turbines. Some good bottom pics while on the sling.

Pics did answer some questions: 1. Very deep recesses on either side of a center section 2. Flat bottom white strut similar to hangar pics 3. Reinforced turn fin bracket with non-trip brace 4. Completely different cowl and pipe configuration with a side hinged canopy access. 5. Different configuration of sponson bottoms. All in all - - Very Interesting. I can now see why the hull did so many erratic antics, and was only run twice after the T-2 was ready.

I recently saw some video of the Winston Lobster running. Jim Kropfeld certainly had his share of Dawg boats to 'test hop' over the years.

I do appreciate the posts and comments from all that took the time to do so. Gave me something to be interested in and something to read. Thank you all very Much.

I think I'll go cut some ply for another WOF project. No - - It will not be a T-1. CHEERS !!! Bob

I can't speak for everyone Bob, but I would really enjoy a build thread for one of your WOF scales.

"Who in their right mind, would run an ugly AZZ brown and orange boat in the scale class????????????????

Yeh, that one about the middle of the page, in the last picture"

RB,

Seems to me that someone whom is stocking a Gift Basket would be more careful - - especially when that same hull, in the hands of an evil Coastie - went from a very nice Mark & Pak paint job, back to the Brown Dawg paint scheme as is being criticised. That paint job was a "One of a Kind" Har, Har !!! CHEERS!!! Bob P.S. Would you prefer a radial or inline in that Swamp Boat - - Turkey???

"And this is coming from a guy who's looking for "a decent picture of the deck, of the U-40 "plane Jane" Miss Houston"

Hey Don,

Thanks for the information. He has been bustin' my chops for me even thinking of doing my latest 8255 as Miss Houston - - and NOW - I HEAR This !!! Watch him try to backslide out and say the paint job is for someone else's hull. He wanted me to paint mine as 8255 '83 U-100 Miss Rock - - four different colors , and all the graphics in the world on it. Ah Ha !!! We have your number now Bellinger !!!!! Har, Har !!!! CHEERS !!! Bob

Hey, Bill Gibson,,,,, Where you at to help me out here?????

Here are some pics of the boat in 85 during testing that Roger Newton took on the blogspot. It had the diamond wing then. I had pics of it with the standard wing and different cowl paintwork/possibly design:

My link

By the way HJ, I never said there was two boats. I'm sure you just had to get that comment in there tho! Bout par for the course!!!!!

From your post, That is the 86 turbine hull. I do believe there were two versions, differnt wings and a little differnt paint scheme on the rear part of the cowling. I took that to read two boats as some have thought the T-2 and T-3 were two different versions of the same boat, so I was just making sure that the information was accurate as some in this thread hasn't been. Now, as for the slam at the end, I didn't slam you and have never slammed you so what makes you think you needed to slam me? Grow up already

"My link"

Hey Mike,

Thank you for the direct link. Trying to find a specific hull on either the Newton or Denslow sites has entertained me for many hours - just seldom find what I started out looking for. I enjoyed seeing the pics displayed there. All information is Good. I appreciate your contribution. CHEERS !!! Bob

Hey Bill,
