The class is based on total engine displacement, so yes a twin 21 can run in 45 class. Also twin 100s can not run as they total over 30cc so do not fit into any class.
EMS Racing Here comes the quad 7.5!!!! Now for 4 minutes of pit time
In NAMBA there is no class that will accomidate twin 1.0. Normally a twin 90 would run in the X hydro for SAW. The max displacement for X class is 30cc or 1.8 cu in. It was notice a few years back. No one has gone that route so it has not been a problem. If someone came to me with a twin 1.0, as a CD I would let them run in X hydro or twin if it was available.

PS They would just not be able to set any records with that boat.
Can't remember the guys name but I remember a "triple" .67 rigger at the Bartow, Florida IMPBA nationals in the mid 80's. You just wouldn't believe the sound! Maybe they changed the rules since then.
Hmmmmm twin 100s would be nice... But will stick to the 90s... and may even go back to a single 90 for the ACT Race. Doesnt look like my new engine mounts (The ones that will help the shafts line up where they are supposed to) will be ready in time and I need them to be installed before the (now mandatory) respray.
Reedy Darville has done a cat with four K&B 7.5 outboards and one with four inboards. That was past IMPBA president Doug McNeely that ran a rigger with three K&B 7.5 outboards laid down to use the square drive from the pto.
Depends on the engine. Obviously you can check the bore/stroke on any engine and calculate the capacity. The A100 case is different to the A90 case so you can visibly see the case is taller on the 100.
EMS Racing Who needs to cheat when you are this good???
Yeah I guess....The CMB 100 I had you couldn't tell, well at least I couldn't. As for the A-100 I'll have to put it next to my A-90's. I'd like to build twin A-100's but am toying with doing the V-180 instead...
