ok guys heres some video of today, first run was a little rich of course, pulling h48s 30% fuel

first run

http://youtu.be/5EmLBGgkNRY

second run was better with a leaner mix and still pulling h48s managed 80 mph

http://youtu.be/sXSs8QMkdSw

third run was with h50s and ended up with a couple of passes at 82 mph then found a air leak in tank

no video of this

all in all very happy with today back to dock each run and no rescue

cheers rick

Hey Rick not saying the wont last but your plastic arms on the linkage wont last, they will get loose in the plastic and drive you crazy. look to copter parts like fly cage, trex 700 will be 4mm and trex 600

will be 3mm holes for rods you can find some old Xcell stock that are steel. also the fly bars that these helos use are stainless and wont corrode if you where to change out the pushrods themselfs

I have a few Xcell (Minature Aircraft USA; It's all I fly) Flybars. Matter of fact, I'm converting my helis to Flybar-less, so I don't need the flybars anymore. I can take measurements if you want.

Rick,

Nice job on the twin.

We have much better propellers to match up with the 91VAC's.

Can't beat coming back to the dock every time.

Thanks For Sharing,

Mark

hi guys thank for you advise

im not sure what im to be looking for can you send me some pictures of what your talking about

i could only find some flybars but not the controll arms

cheers rick

Here is some links and a pic of the ones I like, there are others out there. This is just a quick search on one site. the ones in the pic work well(please use loctite) the others that make up the flybar cage you will need to cut one side off and keep the other for your arm and these cost more than the ones in the pic but what size you need will determine your needs.
