Does anyone have a recommendation for hull length for a twin 90 rigger, I was thinking something around 45-47 inches or does it need to be longer. It wouldn't be for racing, just fun.

I have a hull half built at the moment around 46 inches - and was contemplating between 67's and 90's for engines

any advice is greatly appreciated - I am a hobbiest and marine modeler who has been scratch building power and scale boats for over 20 odd years - not into this as a sport for racing

thanks

My Twin 90 Roadrunner tub is 43 -3/4 " and my twin 80 boat (with 91 VAC's ) is 39 - 3/4 " Both hulls handle the power great , you do not need to make it an Ocean Liner IMO .

Use the 91's for sure !

Thanks Tom,

just checked the hull length, it is actually 43.5 inches, so from what your boat lengths are, my length is on the money then,

I'm guessing then a 67 twin could be smaller

Our twin 67/84 is 42". It has won major races with CMB 91's in it. Our 90/100 twins are 45" to 47".
