Saw this in a for sale post (not trying to cause any problems), and was wondering about the installation of the turn fin. Shouldn't it be at a right angle to that side of the boat?? If not, then I have mine installed wrong...

It is WRONG, should be mounted 90* to the bottom, not vertically as it is :D

Is it just me or does that look like a lot of weight on that transom? Being someone that has hydros, just seems like it's too heavy

I have seen it done like that and at 90*. Seems like everyone runs it 90* to the inside riding pad now. Simple fix.

Mono's never ran turn fins until we went surface drive in the early eighty's. And this is how we mounted them back then.

Take the boat out of the stand & place on table & let it lay on its right side. @ this time it should be vertical.
