Hey Joern,

Ken is on here, he makes the KRE carbs and the 90 engine. Master machinist, he does great work.
Gabe Clegg has one or two of those 90 adapters in his stash from Ken.

I have decided to go my own path making stuff for the CMB 91RS EVO.
Started on the backplates today. Even though the stock carb is pretty good, I want to have the option to use the OS 61G carb 👌
Pretty soon I will start on frontbox adapters for both the VP and Cutthroat drives.

Looks great, wish i had this type of equipement. Looking forward to the complete setup.
Thanks 😊
It is absolutely no high tech, I have a cheap vintage milling machine.
Actually I wanted this milling machine so bad that I cut a hole in the roof to make room for it 😂😂

When you say VP drive, do you have a link or a photo? I don’t think I’ve seen one.

Thanks!

Very cool stuff Joern, thanks for sharing. What is the big disc thing on the side of the carb? I'm not familiar with that twin needle OS carb, but that disc doesn't look stock.

Thanks, Brian, I appreciate that you like the stuff I share.
The «disc» you are refering to is a regulatorvalve for fuel. It is activated by vacuum, meaning when you have suction in the carb the valve will open and supply fuel to the carb, when the engine stops the valve close. This is used on helicopters to ensure a stable fuelsupply. Fueltank is under constant pressure, there is a checkvalve sitting in the pressurehose to make sure fuelpressure is not bleeding out.
This sketch explain how it works
