Tuned pipe question, should I start at 14" ?

I have a stock 260pum, is 14" a good starting point to start the tune or am I wasting time and need to start shorter?I don't want to start to short as I can always cut more off.Thanks in advance.

13.5" Seems to be a sweet spot of stock engines.
