I am still working on this OPS80. The silicone tube that came with the header moves arronud. I have held it somewhat in place with wire ties. This doesn't look as if it would hold for verry long.

Can I make or purchass something better?

Thanks

Pat.

Good quality ties like T&B with the metal tangs work good, also clamp the other end of the pipe well. :)

Cleaning the ID of the coupler and the OD of the header/pipe with isopropyl alcohol helps alot too. Most of the time I assemble them wet then let it evaporate off so theres no oil in between the parts which makes the pipe slide around.

I agree with Brian, alcohol will work well

Before you clean with alcohol, rough up the header with 80 grit so the coupler has something to bite into...this will help if you have to take pipe off/reassemble at the lake...oil in your fuel makes silicone couplers pretty slippery

The stock coupler suck and are too short . Get some from Tim Jones or John Otto and you will be set . Please take some time to post pics of the rig ..you will be on track in no time . What fuel are you planning to use ?
